Now as you can see the cupcakes were made and were eaten, so all good there. I did rather enjoy making them , although I will not be entering the business of cake making, I will leave that to the professionals.
This week we are working with a couple having a village fete style wedding. As well as beating the sunshine drums for them; we have set up a fine marquee dressed with bunting and chair covers with pink and sage sashes, lots of lanterns and their florist has provided some fantastic flowers. The team have also been busy making beautiful favours. Kent honey with honey stirrers tied on with ribbon for the adults and Pooh Bear with honeypot ornaments for the children as well as lots of mini bug chocolates. Pictures of the honey favours to follow. Again beautiful and a perfect country vintage wedding theme, best wishes to Sarah and Mark tomorrow, may the sun shine on your wedding and your life together!
At Classic Events we are very encouraging of our clients who choose to source locally produced food and goods for their weddings and parties and the locally produced Kent honey wedding favours are a great example. Why not find out more information about local produce from the Produced in Kent website.
Sunday will see us finishing off the week at the wedding fayre at the Maidstone Hilton . The show kicks off at 10:30am with catwalk shows at 11:00am. Pop by our stand and say hello if you are there.
